Jeff Appel
Jeffrey E. Appel, Esquire attended the University of Florida where he received his Bachelor of Arts in 1989, and his Master on Sociology and his law degree in 1993.
Jeff's first job was with Holland & Knight, LLP, where he practiced workers' compensation defense exclusively. He left H&K., LLP to become a founding member of Harbsmeier, DeZayas & Appel, LLP. As a partner with the firm, Jeff continued to concentrate his practice in trial work for workers' compensation cases and is Board Certified in the area of Workers' Compensation Law. He also devoted time to family law matters and business litigation.
Jeff's client base grew statewide and he started the firm's second office, located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. As of January 1, 2006, Jeff opened The Law Offices of Jeffrey E. Appel, P.A. (now the Appel Law Group) Jeff continues to practice workers' compensation, family law and business litigation.
Outside of work, Jeff can be found fishing and enjoying outdoor activities.
